"Rainfruit came together over 2019-2022, pulled together from the many threads of my production. Like many, I listen and love widely, and that always comes through in the music I write.

This EP is collected from my love for ambience and organic sounds, digital loops with a human touch. It covers a range of genres and tempos, but I like to think that everything is tied together with a passion for emotion in music.

'Symbol' started as layered irregular loops of stretched guitar, 'Intra' is a love letter to euphoric synth lines and trashed-out breakbeats. 'Anther' is an exercise in layered grooves, seeing how many details I can hide in something that reads as simple. 'Be Like (My Heart)' features the voice of my sister, and is an (maybe too obvious) homage to one of my favourite producers - you probably know who. 'Rainfruit/Kulnara' is a collaboration with my dear friend Zac Picker. It's an exploration of organic ambience and spoken word, and leaves the EP at a peak with reaching arpeggios and noisy synths.

I'm so proud of this release and I'm so excited to share it.
