Lovejoy is a celebration of the people, culture & communities around us as much as it is the music we love.

We’re so pleased to curate the second instalment of COMMUNIONS, spanning a huge 14 tracks from artists from all over so-called-Australia. Moving through all the sounds & moods that both our local & national scenes have become known for, we’re so pleased to platform a series of incredible producers that are hometown heroes no matter where they call home.

It’s this energy, sense of community & love for what makes this music so special that has us more excited than ever to release this into the world.

This is a small snapshot of where our scene is at, where we are headed, & what we come together for.

It’s this sense of community that has us so thankful, & so heartbroken, for what we are seeing overseas. The Israeli genocide in Palestine is an issue that none of us can in our right minds turn away from.

Dance, & dance music, is an inherently political space.

So then, it felt appropriate for us to donate 100% of the profits from this release to Palestine Australia Relief & Action, & the wonderful work that they’re doing for Palestinian migrants and refugees. Our profits will assist them in seeking safety in so-called-Australia, and achieving their full potential, free from the barriers created by conflict and displacement.

We’d like to recognise that the preparation & distribution of this release has occurred on stolen land. We want to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land - The Gadigal People of the Eora Nation & the Wiradjuri people of the Kulin Nation.
